This lakeside garden is located at the western entrance to Evian. A wetland research and information centre, it presents - via an exhibition and a discovery trail through the park - the various watery ecosystems: ponds, mountain streams, marshes...
Inaugurated in 1907, its function was to transport the curists from the large hotels in upper Evian to the spring, the thermal refreshment bar and the thermal establishment (today's Palais Lumière).
The Evian space is located on the ground floor of the Buvette Cachat, historic building built in 1903 in Art Nouveau style. You can discover the history of mineral water, its origin, its benefits.
