About
The Villa du Châtelet is a unique place, located in Évian-les-Bains, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Testimony of the art of living of the Belle Epoque, it once belonged to the Châtelet thermal complex and has recently been restored.
Today, it is home to a cultural circle open to anyone interested in history and heritage.
The Villa offers an original exhibition space that presents the historical and artistic memory of the Evian and Lake Geneva region in a wide variety of fields, enabling visitors to discover the wealth of local cultural history.
The Villa du Châtelet is also a place of discovery and intellectual encounters. Throughout the year, two or three times a month, it offers events designed to sharpen the general culture of the public: philosophical workshops, literary encounters, art history, musical aesthetics, etc.
Ideally located, just 8 minutes' walk from the landing stage, in a magnificent garden overlooking the lake, the Villa du Châtelet is a great place to stroll and relax.
It has the ideal space for a timeless break. Here you can enjoy a snack, browse through books and magazines or play a game of chess.
